Park Fold – Park Sports Pavilion

This project was undertaken by Kharyat Siddiq as the architectural lead during his time at Urbanvision.

Project Details:

The existing sports pavilion was vandalised and burn down and the local authority undertook protest for replacement as new bowl season would not start. The city council councillor’s requested a urgent replacement but one which could withstand vandalism and attempted break in.

Kharyat Siddiq was commissioned to help the client to formulate a brief amongst several stakeholders, local planning event was chaired and achieved successful sign off to the concept and subsequently relevant statutory drawing packages were submitted and awarded approval.

Tender package was produce and contractor was on site in minimum time and was completed before the new activity season had started, once again it was on programme and budget.

A formal handover event was held with local community leaders and press along with city council chief executive was in attendance and it was well received by the end user and the client.
