Beacon Community Centre

This project was undertaken by Kharyat Siddiq during his time at Salford City Council.

Project Details:

Kharyat Siddiq was the project architect for a new build community centre, with all the associated accommodation and facilities, also included a nursery facility for approximately 50 children.

The scheme was already design when Kharyat Siddiq took over the project, and took over when the contractor who came on mid way to replace the original contractor who went into adminstration. Client had requested value engineering to obtain cost saving and redesign. Kharyat changed internal configuration layout and material, planning and building regulation was amended.

The scheme was completed successfully and Kharyat Siddiq was highly commended by Salford City Council who were the project managers.
